SEASON REFLECTION.  As we approach the close of another season we can reflect on the number of very good results in the Men's Leagues.  Despite the season not having the expected SUN (where was it?) many of the games were still played in the right spirit (the bottled version was also enjoyed).

WORTHING.  A 4 Rink team (S Heseltine, J Haselton, N Gould and A Stell) made it through to Worthing but alas lost by one Shot in the first round.  Additionally a CTBC Pair (W McCay and R Jennings) also made it to Worthing, unfortunately they met their match against a pair of Internationals from Leicestershire - Score unknown and forgotten.

4 RINK LEAGUE. What a finale to the end of the regular season - a nip and tuck race for second place between the Town and Purton.  The Town applied pressure on Purton by having decent results in their last two league games that required Purton to win their last two difficult games (both away at Wotten Bassett and Westlecot) - fortunately Purton were unable to make the necessary victories/points. 

MID WILTS TRIPLES.  The team have again won the league and will be presented with the Cup at teh Mid Wilts Gala on Sunday 16 Sept at CTBC.  Well Done Lads!

LADIES.  Sadly the Ladies didn't have such a good season this year mainly due to ill health of their regular players.

MEN'S TEA & BISCUITS.  Another good year for the Seniors who finished a close second.  Well done guys as the Club implemented a policy that every senior would play, if available (not always fielding the strongest team). 

MIXED TEA & BISCUITS.  Unfortunately a 'mixed' (pun intended) season for the Guy's and Girls due, in the main, to a shortage of lady players.  The match Secretary was forced to cancel 4 games due to a lack of players.  Come on Boy's and Girl's check your diaries for next year and let's not cancel any games next year!

CLUB FINALS.  The Club finals are scheduled for 8 Sept 07.  Spectators will be most welcomed!

CAPTAIN'S DAY.  This is the last scheduled fixture of the season - when 15 Sept 07.  Come on support the Captain and put your names on the board.

CLUB DINNER.  This elaborate, plush, star glittered evening will take place on 27 OCT 07 in the Sports Club function room.  Tickets will be on SALE soon!
